The main difference between my method and existing methods is that we digitized the analog trees by including spatial information into the representation. As far as I know, other methods just re-represent the trees in text form or alphabet symbol form (which is a form of digitizing), but do not include new spatial information in their re-representation. We are one step closer to cracking the Glycan Code (a.k.a. "Sugar Code").
